The Spirit of the Lord is upon me.
He has anointed me to bring good news to the poor,
to proclaim liberty to captives and new sight to the blind;
to free the oppressed and announce the Lord's year of Mercy."
Luke 4:18-19

As Claretian Missionaries, Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary--priests, brothers and seminarians--we strive to imitate Christ in all ways and follow him by living in community and serving the Gospel. Like our Founder, Saint Anthony Mary Claret, we want to live passionately our commitment to God's Reign of Life, Love, Justice, and Peace for our world today. As was true for our Founder, our Claretian Missionary Martyrs, and the many other courageous missionaries before us, the love of Christ moves us to respond to the needs of the poor with the most urgent, timely and effective means possible.
As servants of life, we are especially called to be an evangelizing presence in our parishes, as well as other diverse and challenging ministries. We attempt to make our partnership with the laity and other religious and Church leaders a liberating sign of Good News for the economically poorest in society, especially recent immigrants, while also forming evangelizing leaders to share in the building of God's Reign.

Greetings from the Encounter of
CLARETIAN MISSIONARIES OF AMERICA (MICLA)
A Claretian Encounter was held in Medellín, Colombia, from January 15-21, 2013, called by the Prefecture of Apostolate, where 41 people from 10 organizations (32 priests, 1 brother and 4-5 Lay Claretians) from the newly formed MICLA (Misioneros Claretianos de America) came together; this is the first of five planned by the General Government with the various interprovincial conferences.(read more...)

1st. PROVINCIAL CHAPTER OF THE U.S.A. PROVINCE
We thank you Father,
because you have called us
to evangelize like our founder,
Saint Anthony Mary Claret.
Enkindle in our hearts an intense love
for you and your people.
Send us your Spirit so that we may
discern your will for our
Province at our Provincial Chapter.
Help us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus,
that we might live today and always as
his true disciples, present in the world
as Gospel witnesses and messengers
of the Kingdom. Amen.
